Albemarle announces 15% dividend increase

BATON ROUGE, La., Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Albemarle Corporation ALB today announced a quarterly dividend of $0.275 per share, an increase of 15% over the previous quarterly dividend of $0.24. The dividend is payable April 1, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 14, 2014. The new annualized rate is $1.10.  This announcement marks the 20th consecutive year of dividend increases.
