Whitestone REIT Announces Date of 2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

Whitestone REIT WSR, a fully integrated real estate company that owns, operates and redevelops Community Centered Properties^TM, announced today that its Board of Trustees has set the company's annual meeting of shareholders for May 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. CDT. The meeting will be held at the Houston Marriott Westchase Hotel, located at 2900 Briarpark Drive, Houston, Texas 77042.

The record date for determining shareholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the annual meeting will be the close of business on March 10, 2014.
