KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- DST Systems, Inc. DST today announced that it has appointed Debralee Goldberg, currently President and Chief Executive Officer of International Financial Data Services Canada (IFDS), as President of DST's U.S. Recordkeeping business, effective Feb. 1, 2014. Robert Tritt, a 37-year veteran of DST and current head of the Recordkeeping business, has announced his plans to step down on Mar. 31, 2014, following a transition period.

Ms. Goldberg has more than 30 years of leadership experience in financial data services and more than a decade of service with DST and its affiliates. At IFDS, a DST joint venture business and one of the largest mutual fund transfer agents in Canada, she was responsible for overseeing the global organization, which included adding several large client relationships and spearheading entry into new lines of business such as Deposit Services. She has been a member of the IFDS Board of Directors since 2006 and will be stepping down from the IFDS Board on Jan. 31, 2014.

"Debralee's extensive experience at several DST businesses makes her an exceptional choice to serve as President of DST's U.S. Recordkeeping business and will help ensure a smooth transition of leadership following Bob's departure," said Steve Hooley, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer. "We welcome Debralee to her new role, and are confident that she will provide significant contributions to our product development pipeline and will continue our deep commitment to our customers. On behalf of all of us at the Company, we wish Bob all the best after 37 years of service to DST and appreciate his contribution to the growth of our recordkeeping business during his tenure."

Debralee Goldberg said, "I am ready to hit the ground running in this new role with DST and look forward to helping our customers safeguard, process and communicate critical business information. I will be working closely with Bob over the coming weeks to ensure a seamless transition."

Prior to her role at IFDS, Ms. Goldberg served as Vice President of Global Client Services for DST.  She has also held executive positions at both PFPC and Bank of Boston. She is currently on the Board of Directors of FundSERV Inc. (The Investment Fund Network) and serves on several boards for Boston University, including its Alumni Council, Parents Committee and the College of General Studies Dean's Advisory Board.  In 2010, she was recognized by the Stevie Awards for Women in Business as the Best Canadian Executive.
