Harvest Natural Resources Announces Completion of the Redemption of 11% Senior Notes

HOUSTON, Jan. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Harvest Natural Resources, Inc. HNR today announced that on January 10, 2014, it completed the redemption of all $79,750,000 of its outstanding 11% Senior Notes due 2014, plus accrued interest to the date of redemption. 

As previously announced, the redemption was conditioned on the successful completion of negotiations and definitive documents for a transaction under which Harvest would sell all of the Company's interests in Venezuela in two separate closings, the first of which occurred on December 16, 2013.
