Edwards Demonstrates CXS Chemical Dry Vacuum Pump at 2013 Chem Show in New York

Edwards Group Limited EVAC, a leading manufacturer of sophisticated vacuum products and abatement systems and a global provider of related value-added services, is attending the 2013 Chem Show, December 10-12 in New York, NY. Visitors to the show will get an opportunity to see an operational class leading CXS chemical dry vacuum pump, which will be available for the American market in 2014.

The CXS chemical dry vacuum pump is simple to install and use, with an integral controller and safety systems which allow for ‘plug and pump' operation. It has excellent reliability, is environmentally friendly and gives improved liquid and solids handling. The CXS also requires minimal maintenance, which together with low energy usage and utility costs provides users with a low cost of ownership.

CXS pumps are successfully installed at sites across the world, and interest continues to grow as the benefits of the technology are realized. Edwards is introducing a special US variant of the CXS chemical dry vacuum pump, which has been specifically designed for the chemical process industries, and is certified and approved for use in Class 1, Groups C&D, Division 1 hazardous locations.

Visitors to Edwards' Chem Show booth will also be able to see an operational nXDS dry scroll vacuum pump. The nXDS dry scroll pump is suitable for use on vapor handling processes and may be used for some pumping applications involving corrosive substances and particulates.

The nXDS-C special variant has Chemraz® internal valves and stainless steel fittings for extra protection from the pumped media.
