ENERGIZER® hires Schneider Industries to sell Surplus Equipment

SAINT LOUIS, MO, Nov. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - An Auction of the surplus equipment from the closure of the ENERGIZER® battery and flashlight manufacturing plant in Saint Albans, Vermont will occur on Thursday, December 5, 2013.  This is part of ENERGIZER®'s global restructuring project that includes plants in Missouri and Malaysia.

On Thursday, December 5, 2013 commencing at 8:30 am CST, over 1,100 lots of manufacturing equipment for metal working, packaging, plastic injection molding and battery production will be put to Auction.  Buyers can purchase items online and onsite.  Included in this sale are seventeen (17) Van Dorn plastic injection molding machines.  Inspection of the inventory will occur one day prior to the sale, on Wednesday, December 4 from 9 am to 4 pm CST on-location at 75 Swanton Road, Saint Albans, Vermont, 05478.  For more information about this sale, contact Schneider Industries at 314-863-7711.
