Mt. Logan Re, Ltd. Appoints David Whiting as Chief Underwriting Officer

HAMILTON, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Mt. Logan Re, Ltd. today announced the appointment of David Whiting to the position of Chief Underwriting Officer, effective November 25, 2013.

Rick Pagnani, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mt. Most recently employed by Torus Insurance (Bermuda), Ltd, Mr. Whiting has 28 years of reinsurance underwriting experience, having held senior positions at leading insurers and reinsurers, including Swiss Re, Centre Re, Zurich Insurance Group and the Hartford Insurance Group. David is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, the Society of Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU), and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
