SAN DIEGO, Oct. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Leap Wireless International, Inc. LEAP announced today that it has rescheduled the release of financial and operational results for the third quarter 2013 from its previously announced date and time to Friday, November 8, 2013, before market open.

The earnings release is being postponed to allow the Company time to file certain amendments to its annual and quarterly reports to address a classification error in the presentation of certain capital expenditures in the consolidated statements of cash flows, as more fully described in Leap's Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 21, 2013.

The Company plans to issue its results via press release only and will not be hosting an earnings conference call.  The Company will make available other supporting materials which may be accessed by visiting http://earnings.leapwireless.com.
