Magellan Switch Up GPS watch units are on sale at the Heart Rate Watch Company during July while supplies last.
Bozeman, MT (PRWEB) July 16, 2013
The Heart Rate Watch Company has lowered the prices on the Magellan Switch Up and Magellan Switch to be inline with the lowest available online prices.
"The Magellan Switch without heart rate is now selling for $158.99 and the Switch heart rate version is $198.99," says Squire. He adds, "The Magellan Switch Up with barometric altimeter and multisport mounting kit is just $208.99 and the Switch Up heart rate version is $248.99."
"The Magellan Switch and Magellan Switch Up are almost as good as bike computers as they are as watches," says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, "The multisport mounting kit allows the watch body to transition very fast off the wrist band and into the bike mount."
Extra External Battery
Magellan also has an extra External battery that clips right to the watch body that can double battery life to 16 hours or more according to Squire. He adds, "We only recommend using the external battery for cycling because it adds a lot of bulk to the watch for running."
The Magellan Switch Up is great for cycling because the watch body snaps right off the watch band to go straight into a bike mount on the stem according to Squire. He adds, "This is one of the best cycling watches made to be sure and rivals the very best bike computers with its screen, ANT+ connectivity, barometric altimeter and more."
"The Magellan Switch and Switch Up make good running watches but we would recommend them for the guys because the watch body is just a bit too large for women to look normal," says Squire. He adds, "It only weighs 2.5 ounces, so it is not too bad from a weight perspective as long as you don't add the auxiliary battery."
The Magellan GPS sport watches are available at the Heart Rate Watch Company and if you need expert advice simply call them toll-free at 866-586-7129.
