American Greetings Wants Consumers to "#YOLO, SO #YODEL!" On Facebook

CLEVELAND, July 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- American Greetings Corporation AM asks everyone to join them in this summer's hottest trend, #Yodeling, because, You Only Live Once (YOLO).  A leader in social expressions announced the launch of its "#YOLO, SO YODEL!" Facebook contest, which invites consumers to spread a little happiness and laughter by submitting their own (brief) yodeling videos into its #Yodeling Contest Facebook tab. Videos will be accepted until midnight, July 31, and may be uploaded or recorded from a mobile phone.  

To enter "#YOLO, so #YODEL!," just visit American Greetings on Facebook and click on the #Yodeling Contest tab. Show off your unique vocal stylings for a chance to win a yodeling-themed prize package worth more than $1,400! The Grand Prize includes:

Voting will take place August 1-8.

American Greetings introduces the contest in conjunction with the premiere of its innovative line of video ecards which includes a "Happy Birthday Yodel" card. These new singing greetings allow consumers to customize the ecard song lyrics for a fun, personalized birthday greeting. Just select a name and some funny personalizations from the drop-down menus, and share via Facebook, email and more!
