Empowered UCLA Extension Offers Over 75 Online Courses for $99 for Busy Adults Seeking Career Change

CAMPBELL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Empowered UCLA Extension – a collaboration between UCLA Extension and Empowered Careers – announced today Empowered UCLA Extension is offering a ten-week professional education course for $99 to adults struggling in today's economy and seeking a career change. Normally, these courses cost $1050 each.

In addition, veterans, active military members, and their families are eligible to enroll in one ten-week course plus personalized career counseling for free.

The program offers UCLA Extension professional education from a live instructor, who is an expert in his or her field. The program is delivered through a groundbreaking Empowered iPad app, which places a community of instructors, peers and experienced career counselors, all just one tap away. Students can use desktop computers as well. To ensure maximum quality and interaction, individual class sizes are limited to approximately one instructor for every 25 students.

Classes are built with maximum flexibility to enable working adults to complete the program within 12 months.

Students enrolled in full certificate programs have access to career counselors with over 10 years of experience counseling adults on how to enhance, change, and jumpstart their careers.

Empowered UCLA Extension's full certificate programs are approved for Veterans Administration Education Benefits.
