Denise Burgess, Burgess Services, Inc.
Daniel Escalante, Facilitator/Trainer
K.C. Gallagher, The Little Pub Company

Denise Burgess' experience comes from a lifetime of learning. Denise grew up in the construction arena under the watchful eye of her late father Clyde J. Burgess, owner of Burgess Heating and Air Conditioning. After leaving the business for many years, her return in 1994 marked the “passing of the torch.” She worked closely with her father until his passing in 2002.
Denise is closely involved in the Denver business community through her various volunteer positions. She is a Denver Urban Renewal Authority Commissioner and co-chair of the Construction Empowerment Initiative Advisory Committee for the new MBE/WBE City of Denver ordinance.
Daniel Escalante has volunteered with The Denver Foundation's Inclusiveness Project Committee since 2009. He is a self-employed Facilitator/Trainer/Project Coordinator. He has worked with numerous organizations such as Regis University, Boulder County AIDS Project, Latin American Research and Services Agency, and Mi Casa Resource Center.
Daniel's community involvement includes having served on the boards of Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition, Center for Diverse Communities, and Boulder Valley School District Multiethnic Action Coalition.
K.C. Gallagher is Chief Executive Officer of The Little Pub Company, owners and operators of 21 Colorado-based neighborhood restaurants/pubs. He also serves as Chairman of West Creek Partners, LLC, and Vice Chairman of Gallagher Industries, LLC, both private investment firms.
K.C. currently serves on the boards of UMB Financial Corporation and UMB Bank Colorado. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Denver. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of San Diego and an M.B.A. from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
Denise O'Leary is a Private Investor and Corporate Director. She invests in early stage technology companies and serves on several large corporate and not-for-profit boards.
Denise's current corporate directorships include: Calpine Corporation, Medtronic, Inc., and US Airways, Inc. Some of the nonprofits Denise has been involved with are Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, the Corporation for Supportive Housing, Stanford Hospital and Clinics, and Stanford University.
Stephen Seifert is the Executive Director of the Newman Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Denver. Before assuming his duties at the Newman Center, Steve consulted with the City of Denver regarding the renovation of Denver's Historic Auditorium Theatre, now the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Prior to that, he was the Executive Director of Opera Colorado.
Steve is currently a board member of the Western Arts Alliance. He has served on the boards of numerous community organizations including the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, Rocky Mountain Region of the Institute of International Education, and the Denver Public Library Friends Foundation.
