John Lupypciw is the president and major developer of the Continental Group and the firm is glad to be celebrating the 5 year anniversary of one of their greatest architectural developments, Antigua Condominiums. A residential condominium property in Scottsdale, Arizona was, 5 years ago, being redeveloped by John Lupypciw and the Continental Group. It was this development that led to not just the architectural award but also selling all of the 200 units in the middle of the recession.
The last few years have been challenging for the real estate market but John Lupypciw and the Continental Group have remained productive. The beginning of 2007 marked the bottom of the residential market and also when John Lupypciw and the Continental Group started redeveloping Antigua Condominiums. The Continental Group started the initial stages of construction on Antigua Condominiums with aim to update the location and all the units.
John Lupypciw, of the Continental Group, began construction with the goal of making the development look like a natural oasis. Palm trees were transported in, and all the buildings were redone. The results of this creativity won the Continental Group the Architecture Award in 2008. When development was over, John Lupypciw's Continental Group sold the units in record time. All 200 of the condos were sold within the first year and during the recession.
This feat was unprecedented at the time and John Lupypciw likes to think back to that fantastic event every year. The project produced results that exceed expectations, which is why it is used as inspiration for future projects. The Architecture Award was an essential part of that and so every year the Continental Group celebrates the anniversary.
John Lupypciw and the Continental Group have over 35 years in the business of building multi-family real estate developments, handling entitlements, and rezoning land. They are continuing to take on projects and further hone their skills. This is why John Lupypciw and the Continental Group look back into the past, assess successes, and take that know-how into the future. At the moment John Lupypciw is handling quite a few other projects in the development stage, but he still likes to remember the wonderful results achieved on the Antigua Condominiums project.
