Transparent Earth™ is a cloud-based application designed to help on-site teams obtain, display, measure and manage precise map data and utility assets. By integrating Google Maps Engine, ProStar can utilize Google's purpose-built geo platform and functionality to manage and locate utility assets underground. Additionally, ProStar is also working closely with Google to develop its mobile data collection software, PointMan™, which uses Android-based technology to provide field teams with access to vital map and asset information within a remote environment.

A key benefit of implementing Google Maps Engine is the ability to provide application users with real-time access to the simple and familiar Google Maps interface. Google's easy to use map platform helps make ProStar's solutions more accessible to a global audience. Furthermore, application users can also rely on the Google Map for map data accuracy.
