Promotion Yields $8,000 Donation to Alleviate Poverty Worldwide
SR Max donates $1 for each pair of safety shoes sold to Whole Foods Whole Planet Foundation

Poverty is everyone's concern – and though SR Max is primarily focused on making slip resistant shoes to protect employees at work, it's a company that also recognizes the importance of taking care of those who cannot help themselves.
That's why SR Max teamed up with Whole Foods to donate $1 for every pair of safety shoes purchased in November and December back to the company's Whole Planet Foundation. The partnership yielded an $8,000 donation – a rounded-up amount resulting from 7,894 pairs of shoes sold during the two-month promotion.
The funds will be used to support the Whole Planet Foundation's focus of making microloans to thousands of people with the goal of lifting them out of poverty.
