Xoom Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 14, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Xoom Corporation (Nasdaq: XOOM), a global online money transfer provider, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 6,325,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $16.00 per share. 5,220,893 shares will be offered by Xoom and 1,104,107 shares will be offered by selling stockholders. The underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 948,750 shares of common stock from Xoom to cover over-allotments. The shares are expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on February 15, 2013 under the symbol "XOOM."
Barclays Capital Inc. and Needham & Co., LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering, and Raymond James & Associates and Robert W. Baird & Co. are acting as co-managers for the offering.
