Penrose Academy Students and Alumni Travel to New York City

Penrose Academy, North Scottsdale's Award Winning Cosmetology and Skin Therapy Academy, has embarked on their second ‘Study in the States' trip to New York City.

Eighteen currently enrolled Penrose Academy students and graduates have made their way to New York for a unique cultural and educational experience. During their stay, Penrose Academy students and graduates were able to see Broadway shows (including a pre-performance hair and makeup workshop), a day of education at the House of Bumble, a tour of the NBC Studios and visit other great landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA).

“Our Study in the States program not only connects students with educational opportunities such as hands-on training with top educators at the House of Bumble, it also exposes them to cultural inspiration through the travel itself, building growth and creativity,” said Jill Kohler, President and Co-Founder of Penrose Academy.
