The International Youth Conditioning Association, one of the leading organizations in the field of youth fitness and young athlete development, has opened “Early Bird Registration” for its 5th Annual IYCA Summit. Discounted registration is available through Sunday.

Elizabethtown, KY (PRWEB) January 16, 2013

One of the world's foremost youth fitness and childhood athletics institutions, the International Youth Conditioning Association, has just opened registration for the 5th Annual IYCA Summit. Through Sunday, January 20th at Midnight EST, attendees can secure Early Bird Registration.

For those attendees who do register during the Early Bird Registration period, the IYCA is giving away Kid Fit Camp, a youth training product designed to help trainers start child athletic development camps. The product is normally priced at $127. The event takes place March 15-16.

Held every year in Louisville, Kentucky, the IYCA Summit brings together a number of leading experts in the field of youth athletic development. Each expert presents on a different topic related to youth fitness and improving the caliber of youth trainers.

“When you attend the IYCA International Summit you'll come away with new strategies to help your athletes to reach their potential, dramatically improved program design, and a toolbox full of workouts to maximize the impact you're having on young athletes,” says Pat Rigsby, CEO of the IYCA.

Beyond the variety of useful coaching lessons and powerful presentations, the IYCA Summit has been known as one of the best ways for coaches in the youth fitness industry to get together, network, and share training ideas.

“The annual IYCA International Summit provides an opportunity for trainers and coaches at all levels of experience to sharpen their skills and to form lasting connections within the industry,” says Nick Berry, the IYCA president.

At the event, attendees can expect to receive demonstrations and instruction on elite performance training concepts from some of the leaders in youth fitness today. With numerous opportunities to network, attendees can also network with the presenters.

“Over the course of just two days, you can learn what are the best practices in the field from some top youth trainers, how to attract youth clients to your business, how to teach power and agility, and much more,” Rigsby notes.

As it does every year, the IYCA has assembled a roster of speakers comprised of some of the biggest names in the field of youth athletic development.

Among the many notable presenters will be Eric Cressey of Cressey Performance, Mike Robertson of IFAST, Wil Fleming, Dave “the Band Man” Schmitz, and Dr. Toby Brooks, the IYCA's Director of Research and Education.

While the 5th Annual IYCA Summit will not take place until March 15th and 16th, the organization has already opened up Early Bird Registration for people to secure a seat at the event.
