Entertainment Centers Get a Facelift at Contempo Space

Contempo Space adds modern new material choices to their entertainment center lineup, including mirrored and colored glass fronts.

Passaic, NJ (PRWEB) January 15, 2013

Contempo Space, manufacturer and retailer of modern entertainment centers and custom TV furniture for the living room and bedroom, announces this week that several customizable entertainment centers are now available to customers in new, contemporary material choices.

The entertainment centers, previously offered in matte finishes, will now be available in mirrored and colored glass. The mirrored option allows for the customer's choice of plain edge mirrors or bevel edge mirror to be used for the front of the entertainment center.

The new colored glass fronts for the entertainment units are available in 24 colors. The exclusive colored glass collection contains colors spanning the entire rainbow, including colonial red, meadow green and french lilac, as well as several glass colors that don't make it onto the rainbow. These include black, oregano, espresso and nutmeg, to name a few.

The entertainment centers that are offered with the new mirrors and glass include some of the more "traditional look" models. The designers of the pieces tend to call them "transitional entertainment center," meaning they have some qualities of both traditional and modern furniture.

"We definitely define ourselves as modern," says Danielle Mancini on behalf of Contempo Space, "but like anything else, the definition of modern is largely subjective when it comes to furniture style.

"Some of our entertainment furniture was designed to bridge the gap between contemporary and traditional. The Chrystie [entertainment center] and the Emma are good examples. These have been very popular from day one. People appreciate the way we combine the classic approach of glass shelves with overhead lighting for display pieces with modern design elements and storage."

In total, five entertainment center models are enjoying this facelift: The Chrystie, Emma, Crystal, Stockton and Savoy wall units each are now available with optional mirrored or colored glass fronts.

Previously, these pieces of furniture could be customized in only matte finishes, including black, white, and a variety of wood tones ranging from dark to light wood.

"The transitional units were initially expected to help us reach customers who might not have a more moderate style of decor at home, as compared to some of our other ultra-modern offerings, so the wood finishes were expected to be enough. We've had enough people ask about the possibility of getting them with the mirrors or glass though, that we just had to do it! One thing that's always been true at Contempo Space: what the customer wants, the customer gets."
