Popular U.S. made male enhancement product Virectin has been restricted from sale in Germany after being deemed “too strong as a non-prescription product” by its governing body.

The extremely potent formula has remained one of the leading trending products in social media in the male performance category since October 2012 according to Klout.com. However, despite its popularity and soaring sales figures since last year, according to manufacturer Gentopia Laboratories, the German government has attempted to classify Virectin as a drug.

In the United States Virectin remains classified as a dietary supplement by the FDA and is manufactured according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standards laid out by the FDA guidelines.

This enables the product to continue to be sold outside of Germany as an OTC non-pharmaceutical product. This is certainly welcome news to those who have been enjoying the big benefits of easy over-the-counter access to a potent enhancement product without having to get a doctor's prescription or resort to the dangerous black market as many Viagra users have had to.

Gentopia Labs spokesperson Martin Blanchard says, “It is great that the U.S. has upheld the status of Virectin and important that men everywhere are able to receive the quality help they need from a reputable lab without having to jump through the embarrassing hoops other products on the market require. It's a bit disappointing considering the growing consumer demand for the product in Germany. Its certainly disappointing but it's beyond our control "

The U.S. Federally Trademarked product credits its success to its combination of sixteen 100% natural ingredients which are scientifically engineered into a long lasting multi-stage formula. This formula is targeted to solve all four major concerns men commonly desire to address; increasing blood flow, improved stamina, libido and supporting healthy testosterone levels. In fact, just one of the testosterone boosting ingredients in Virectin, Tongkat Ali, was shown to increase testosterone by as much as 93% as confirmed by scientific studies.

According to testimonials from customers in Illinois and New Jersey, including some that have been using the product for over 9 months, it has made a “big time” difference and has even been favorably contrasted with Cialis.

While the change in classification in Germany may have been a disappointing blow to consumers there, Virectin is still available in other European countries as well throughout the U.S. Sadly for manufacturers and the doctors behind the creation of products like these, especially in these economic times, challenges like this are not uncommon to face when trying to bring a high quality, truly effective solution to market.
