The new Insight 360 software platform released today facilitates and simplifies instructional content planning and delivery, real-time assessment, and higher-level achievement.

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) January 14, 2013

eInstruction, a global education software and technology company, released today its newest version of Insight 360™, the all-in-one classroom instruction system that enhances best teaching practices, utilizes existing lesson content, and drives student learning while integrating with new and existing education technology.

The powerful, next generation of easy-to-use software enables educators to boost student engagement and gain immediate results of formative and summative assessment using a variety of mobile devices such as eInstruction student response pads (clickers), smartphones, tablets, or the iPad®.

“At the center of any education success story is the teacher. Insight 360 is changing the way technology is integrated in the classroom by magnifying an educator's ability to provide highly engaging, personalized instruction that drives student achievement,” said Rich Fennessy, President and CEO at eInstruction.

Twenty classrooms from across the United States participated in beta testing of the new Insight 360 software. The classrooms ranged from kindergarten to post-secondary and represent schools in various stages of technology implementation from the introduction of devices in the classroom to BYOD programs or 1:1 iPad initiatives. The feedback from the participating schools was overwhelmingly positive with many citing ease of use, for both teachers and students, and Insight 360's ability to make learning more fun, interactive, and engaging.

John Keelin, a kindergarten teacher at E.G. Ross Elementary School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, reports, “Thanks to Insight 360, I have been given back time to teach. Assessments that used to take me hours to complete are done in minutes. The data is instantly available on my Mobi 360 allowing me to teach in the moment―something I have never been able to do in my 11 years of teaching.”

The Insight 360 technology was also found to be effective in a second-grade classroom with English Language Learner (ELL) students during the beta testing.

“Assessment should be a continuous and interactive process between teacher and student. Often traditional whole-class methods provide no way to showcase an ELL student's development. Insight 360 helps achieve this by asking short-answer questions that are paired with visual examples and descriptions, not just definitions,” said teacher Steven Lamb also of E.G. Ross Elementary.

Insight 360 is bundled with ExamView® Learning Series providing teachers easy access to assessment content that is aligned with state and Common Core State Standards. ExamView Learning Series is eInstruction's well-recognized question bank of more than 15,000 assessment instruments aligned with more than 10,000 textbook titles.

Whether leveraging BYOD, implementing 1:1 initiatives, using computer labs, or sharing resources from classroom to classroom, Insight 360 integrates with existing technologies to bring forward best practices into the classroom, bridge the gap to higher level learning, and meet new digital assessment requirements.

Insight 360 is available for purchase through eInstruction Authorized Resellers and Sales Representatives in the Americas. A free trial version is also available for download at http://www.einstruction.com/insight360trial.
