It's a very good life …but then things are about to change when Tyra becomes engaged to be married. Suddenly Howie decides to sabotage the wedding! About the Author
Vivian Damratowski lives with her husband, Casey, in Loup City, Neb. She has lived in other small towns, a forest reserve and in the slums of a large city. Their adult children live in Omaha. She has written poems and stories all of her life. “Howie's Stupendous, Gigantic Adventure” was her first published book.

About the Illustrator
Jere Haffner Schwartzkopf grew up in Bayard, a small town near the famous Chimney Rock landmark in western Neb. She and her husband Robert raised three daughters on a farm near Bridgeport, Neb. She takes pencil and brush in hand and makes stories come alive with pictures.
