Author Vivian Damratowski teams up with illustrator Jere Haffner Schwartzkopf to create this exciting, adorable and lesson-filled picture book, Howie and the Love Stuff. Readers will discover a wonderful tale of a feisty, little dog that tries to disrupt a wedding but ends up learning some important things about love.

In this book you will meet Howard Eugene Plantenberg a.k.a “Howie”. Howard is a YorkiePoo, part YorkshireTerrier/ part Poodle. He has lived with Tyra and her daughter, Korryn, as long as he can remember and feels that he is in charge of the family. He wakes them up in the morning and then guards the house while they go off to work and school – for that's what he is, a watch dog! It's a very good life …but then things are about to change when Tyra becomes engaged to be married. Suddenly Howie decides to sabotage the wedding! What he does --and if he'll succeed -- will excite and delight you.

In Howie and the Love Stuff, Damratowski has written an amusing tale that demonstrates the true meaning of love and the sacrifices that are made in order to find true happiness. Enhanced by colorful and vibrant illustrations by Schwartzkopf, this book is a great teaching tool and a perfect instrument for parent-child bonding.
