The Carlbrook School Board of Regents is excited to announce the unveiling of a new boys' dormitory on its campus.

Halifax, VA (PRWEB) January 03, 2013

The male students of Carlbrook moved in to a brand new, state of the art boys' dormitory on December 21, 2012, a long awaited and exciting event for the school. The J.E. Burton Construction Company of South Boston, VA took approximately six months to build the 10,000 square foot building that was modeled after the girls' dormitory constructed on campus almost two years ago. Situated across campus from the academic village, the building boasts a student lounge, kitchenette, exercise room and fully networked study area, in addition to beds for over 80 male students.

Over the last eleven years, Carlbrook has established itself as one of the most prominent therapeutic schools in the country. As such, the primary emphasis has been to allocate resources toward providing effective programming for its students and families, leaving the expansion of facilities as a secondary focus. In the last two years, the ability to construct new facilities on the Carlbrook campus has been an exciting stage of development, one the school intends to continue with the addition of new academic and athletic facilities in coming years.
