Tuscan, AZ (PRWEB) January 02, 2013

Lil Zay has been backed by Shark on Land Entertainment since he was a 15 year old. Lil Zay passed up on all major label offers in the last quarter of 2012 and has recently agreed on terms with a well-known multi-platinum production team. Shark on Land Entertainment has been the back bone for Lil Zay over the past 5 years of his career. In the later part of last year, Lil Zay explored the interest of major labels and has decided to remain loyal to his angle investor Chris Valenzuela.

"Chris is my guy. I listened to all of the talk. A half of a million dollar development deal does not give me enough control of the vision of what I am doing and where I want to be, So I called Chris for a face to face meeting and asked him to continue to back me through the next phase of my career. He said yes. Then he set up a series of meetings instrumental to taking us to the next step," says Lil Zay.

"I can understand Zay's mentality. He has strong support in Tuscan. Jay-Z didn't sign with Eric B and Rakim. Lil Wayne didn't sign with Master P. 50 met Eminem and never looked back. If you are a real guy in the music game you make your way through. Lil Zay is definitely on the right track," says, Richard Victor Mahee, Major Label News/Saltmine News.

Last October, after the meeting between Zay and Chris, Chris organized a meeting with RIAA mult-platinum music producer Damon Elliott, who has worked on projects with WuTan Clan, TuPac, Easy-E, Bone Thugs and Harmony. Damon also has produced the best female pop and RnB vocalists P!nk, Gwen Stefani, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Keisha Cole.

"Damon was filming an interview for a documentary on MoPreme Shakur about "Thug Life". Mahee organized an introduction. Damon heard the "new" Zay records in studio D at The Saltmine Studio Oasis and said lets make this happen," says Valenzuela.

Damon's family has been in the music business for generations. Damon Elliot Music Group, Damon's company, co-produced his mother's (Dionne Warwick) 50th Anniversary in the entertainment business at Miami Fontaine Bleau on 12/15/2012. Even though Damon was born with a silver spoon his first project went 11 time RIAA Platinum (Bone-Thugs N Harmony "First of the Month") and his mother didn't even know that he was recording or even meeting with rap music icon Easy-E. To the contrary, Lil Zay, has made his way through the business from the ground up and was a finalist in a competition that Johnny J had for a short list of Mcee's that he wanted to sign. Johnny J a multi-platinum song writer and producer of "All Eyez on Me" The album was certified 5 times RIAA Platinum in the United States after just 2 months. "Lil Zay won the competition and was in negotiations to sign to Johnny J but he passed away 4 months after Zay won the competition. That's when Chris Valenzuela CEO of Shark On Land Entertainment pick up Lil Zay and signed him to Shark On Land Entertainment," says Pramo Virk, Mahvrick International.

"Damon Elliott is currently working on a VH1 TV show sound track and has done theme songs for HBO fights like Coto over the past six months. It makes a lot of sense for the two to build a production entity together because Damon has the ability to produce, place, and break records. He has done it over...and over...and over....again. We look forward to the prospects that this project can bring," says Mahee.
