Walter Energy's Board of Directors Declares Quarterly Dividend

BIRMINGHAM, AL--(Marketwire - January 31, 2013) - Walter Energy Inc. (NYSE: WLT) (TSX: WLT), the world's leading, publicly traded "pure-play" producer of metallurgical coal for the global steel industry, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.125 per common share payable on March 12, 2013, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 20, 2013.
