Anderson is a well-known figure in the shopper marketing arena, having been named one of Shopper Magazine's “Who's Who in Shopper Marketing.” Anderson has more than 15 years of experience working with the world's top consumers brands, including Procter & Gamble, LG Electronics, Pepsico, Wendy's, Elizabeth Arden, Diageo, Kroger and Walmart. He had been with Saatchi & Saatchi X since 1999 in increasingly senior management positions.
Anderson joins a dynamic leadership team at Project: WorldWide which has seen a steady stream of new talent join its ranks in recent years. Most recently, Project acquired Motive, an award-winning digital and experiential agency, in November 2012.
“The fundamental idea Project has for engagement marketing is the most exciting thing happening in the marketing space right now – it's the next step for our industry,” said Anderson. “To have the chance to come in and help guide a global player like Project in its efforts to champion engagement and participatory marketing as the future...it's just a tremendous opportunity.”
Anderson will be based in Fayetteville, AR and will work with Project offices around the globe.
“We are delighted that Charlie has decided to join Project. Shopper marketing is core to our ability to deliver powerful marketing programs that engage consumers and drive them to act. And there is nobody better than Charlie at leading innovative approaches in that space,” said Robert G. Vallee, Chairman & CEO of Project: WorldWide.
