Office Depot Relocates Store in Orland Park with Entirely New Concept Designed by Customers, for Customers
Office Depot® (NYSE: ODP) has built an entirely new store experience for its customers and is celebrating its opening in Orland Park. The Office Depot store formerly located at 1 Orland Park Place Suite 190 has been reopened at 15202 S. LaGrange Road with a new concept created to encourage customers to interact more with products, with Office Depot associates, and with each other – all in a brand new store designed around the way customers want to shop.
The new Office Depot store goes way beyond mere cosmetic changes. Once inside, consumers are welcomed to the new bluwire store-within-a-store featuring the coolest tech and mobility products such as cases for iPhone® 5, and accessories for iPad® and MacBook®, Beats© by Dre headphones, and wireless speakers – with the vast majority of these products being new to Office Depot. bluwire is best known for its highly successful tech and mobility products offered in select airports around the country.
In fact, the new Orland Park Office Depot store features a PC Bar where people can sit down, plug in their laptop or tablet and get to work. There is also a computer rental station, free Wi-Fi throughout the store, a recharge station and free, self-serve coffee available between the hours of 8 a.m. – 10 a.m., and 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. on weekdays.
Interactivity is one of the key features of the new store with several touch screen displays throughout the store where consumers can order any product from OfficeDepot.com if they are unable to find it on store shelves. And best of all, delivery is free.1 It is not just in Orland Park either. If customers are unable to find what they are looking for while shopping in any of our 1,100 retail stores, they can purchase it online with the assistance of one of our sales associates in store for free shipping, too.
A full offering of business services are in the center – at the heart – of this new store. The Print Shop provides same-day business cards, copying, document shredding, custom printing, and packing and shipping, making Office Depot a virtual back office for small business.
Office Depot's Tech Services provides computer repair, network set-up, software installation, virus removal and more.
The Orland Park Office Depot Store #3311 employs approximately 15 associates. It houses nearly 4,500 products – everything from furniture and office supplies to technology, including a Tech Depot consultation table for helping customers with all of their technology needs, and a Copy & Print Depot.
