Centrix Software Announces Major Deal with Global Wall Street Bank

Centrix Software today announced that a global financial services firm has selected Centrix WorkSpace™ to optimize its move to Windows 7 across 65,000 desktop users and provide on-going visibility of application usage across its entire organization of over 100,000 users.

Under the deal, the investment bank will use Centrix WorkSpace iQ™ to automate the analysis of its desktop computing estate as it designs and deploys services based on Windows 7 and other new application and desktop technologies. In addition, the bank will also use the intelligence gathered to rationalize its software assets, which includes up to 9,000 applications.
