OBJE: Phantasmic Feedback Exceeds Expectations

Early feedback on Phantasmic has exceeded expectations, and OBJ Enterprises OBJE expects the trend to continue as its debut gaming app for Apple APPL devices begins beta testing in January.

Phantasmic is the first of two brand new iOS gaming apps scheduled for release in 2013 by Novalon Games, the gaming developer founded by the joint venture of Obscene Interactive and Source Street, LLC.

“It's a very addictive gaming experience,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. “Those of us who have played Phantasmic are very eager to get it into the hands of consumers. Completing beta testing will be a solid first step.”

Phantasmic and other new games will be built on the increasingly popular free-to-play model, meaning the games will be free to download and use. The Company will achieve monetization through in-app purchases of power-ups and other specialty items.

According to recent figures by the analytics firm Flurry, mobile apps for Apple iPhone and iPad as well as Google GOOG Android devices generated about $10 billion in revenue during 2012 — an incredible 80 percent of which came from gaming apps. Gaming apps dominate all other mobile categories, with users spending 43 percent of their app time on games.

OBJE hopes to announce its second iOS title before the end of the year. The Company is concurrently developing Wayfarers, a sophisticated social media roleplaying game, for release in 2013, too.
