Brookfield, WI (PRWEB) December 24, 2012
The band has not toured since 2009, and fans are very eager for their chance to see the group perform live. The tour is not promoting a new album although there is the distinct possibility that a few new songs will be performed at upcoming concerts. Europe and Australia are to be a part of the tour, but dates for these concerts have not as yet been announced. Only North American concert dates have been provided, and shows will begin on April 4 in Columbus, Ohio, at Nationwide Arena and will finish on June 12 in Detroit, Michigan, at Joe Louis Arena.
An April 6 show is being held in the City of Brotherly Love at the Wells Fargo Center. The Philadelphia facility hosts many sports games throughout the year, but concerts are also a big attraction at the indoor arena. The very first event at the Center that actually opened the facility was a private Ray Charles concert in August of 1996 with 12,000 in attendance. Besides holding shows for a number of famous celebrities, the Wells Fargo Center is also home to many of Philadelphia's sports teams, including the 76ers basketball team and the Flyers hockey team.
Canadian fans can obtain Fleetwood Mac tickets for concerts in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Edmonton. U.S. residents can enjoy concerts in such locations as Columbus, Ohio; Boston, Massachusetts; Chicago, Illinois; Kansas City, Missouri; Little Rock, Arkansas; Los Angeles, California; Phoenix, Arizona; Houston, Texas; and Atlanta, Georgia.
The group plans to begin rehearsals on February 15 for upcoming shows, and the setlists have still not been officially determined. Once rehearsals begin, the members of the group will decide on the material they want to include in their upcoming shows, and they will also decide at this time if the few new songs that were recently recorded will make it onto the concerts' setlists. The band looks forward to taking the tour to locations besides North American cities, and they plan to perform regular concerts along with festivals in European locations. There is also a good chance they will perform 15 concerts in Australia after North American shows have concluded.
