Two model options allow frequency ranges from 9kHz to 3GHz and 9kHz to 20GHz respectively, with very low phase noise, fast switching speeds, full sweeping functions, and extensive modulation in a small package. Programming and control are performed through various interfaces such as USB A/B and Ethernet. We have removed a front panel interface on the Model 835-M to reduce size and cost. An API library is provided that can be used to control the sources via Linux in a simple and straightforward method. An National Instruments Certified LABView driver is in development and the company expects a release date of 02/13.
