Bal Harbour Panerai boutique hosts gathering honoring Haute Living publisher for his work with Sailing Heals

Bal Harbour Panerai boutique hosted a gathering honoring Kamal Hotchandani, CEO of Haute Living, for his work with Sailing Heals, which is Panerai's charity of choice.

The receiving charity is a non-profit organization that takes underprivileged youth and military veterans out for a healing day of sailing in classic sailboats. Hotchandani became a believer in the charity when he took a rare day off work to go out with the Sailing Heals group and saw how effective it was.

“That day stayed with me and I realized the power that sailing has on these people that might not otherwise get to experience it,” Hotchandani said when receiving his honor.

Since his day on the water, Hotchandani, in addition to donating his own time and money, has been instrumental at getting friends with deep pockets. An announcement was made at the event that Stewart Rahr had donated $25,000 to the charity, which furthered the excitement at the gathering. The party then continued to a private dinner at Alan and Ruth Zelcer's spectacular waterfront Bal Harbour residence.
