Language Line Services, the global market leader in interpretation and translation solutions, has been awarded a contract to supply face-to-face interpreting services across three hospital sites operated by Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

London, UK (PRWEB UK) 4 December 2012

Language Line Services, the global market leader in interpretation and translation solutions, has been awarded a contract to supply face-to-face interpreting services across three hospital sites operated by Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The arrangement is expected to improve the quality of care the Trust provides to patients by ensuring that interpreting is provided in the most appropriate way for each individual patient. Cost savings will be achieved through a combination of reduced headline rates, and the implementation of Language Line's highly acclaimed face-to-face to telephone interpretation programme.

Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust made the decision to award the contract to the firm after successfully using their telephone interpreting service for a number of years. The decision was primarily based on the prospect of receiving a premium quality interpreting solution and enhanced customer service whilst simultaneously being able to demonstrate significant cost savings over the contract term.

Andrea Smith, Equality and Diversity Manager at the Trust said, “Language Line have always provided an excellent telephone interpreting service, and the level of professionalism and commitment they have shown in the build up to launching the face-to-face interpreting service suggests it will be of the same high quality”.

The service launches in December and looks likely to represent only the beginning of Language Line's presence in the city of Liverpool.

Simon Yoxon-Grant, Sales & Marketing Director at Language Line Services said, “We're delighted to have won this high-profile contract in Liverpool. Our Implementation and Interpreter Management teams have spent a lot of time in the city over the last few months training Trust staff and recruiting high quality interpreters, and I expect to announce further contract wins in the region very soon”.
