Eaton Vance New York Municipal Bond Fund Report Of Earnings

BOSTON, Dec. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance New York Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE MKT: ENX) (the "Fund"), a closed-end management investment company, today announced the earnings of the Fund for the three months and year ended September 30, 2012.  The Fund's fiscal year ended on September 30, 2012.

For the three months ended September 30, 2012, the Fund had net investment income of $2,859,856 ($0.180 per share).  For the year ended September 30, 2012, the Fund had net investment income of $11,564,459 ($0.728 per share).  In comparison, for the three months ended September 30, 2011, the Fund had net investment income of $3,130,458 ($0.197 per share).  For the year ended September 30, 2011, the Fund had net investment income of $12,638,739 ($0.797 per share).

Net realized and unrealized gains for the three months ended September 30, 2012 were $7,870,931 ($0.497 per share).  Net realized and unrealized gains for the year ended September 30, 2012 were $20,753,356 ($1.308 per share).  In comparison, net realized and unrealized gains for the three months ended September 30, 2011 were $9,411,653 ($0.591 per share). Net realized and unrealized losses for the year ended September 30, 2011 were $6,472,981 ($0.412 per share).

On September 30, 2012, net assets of the Fund were $229,792,487. The net asset value per share on September 30, 2012 was $14.46 based on 15,893,773 shares outstanding. In comparison, on September 30, 2011, net assets of the Fund were $209,003,178. The net asset value per share on September 30, 2011 was $13.17 based on 15,871,093 shares outstanding.
