MDI Combines Designer Luxury and Technology with New Waterford and Vera Wang Digital Photo Frames
MDI, an innovative consumer electronics company based in Silicon Valley, announced today that it is now providing Waterford Crystal and Vera Wang digital photo frames to consumers through many premium retailers in North America, including Bed Bath & Beyond and Amazon.
For the first time, the world's premium crystal frame brand and a leading fashion brand are available as digital photo frames, allowing consumers to store over one thousand photos in one simple step on a single beautiful frame.
“The Waterford and Vera Wang brands are renowned for style and quality, and we are excited to provide consumers with the perfect marriage of technology and luxury design with these stunning new digital photo frames,” said Michael Harmon, president of MDI.
Waterford and Vera Wang Frames Offer Style and Functionality
Classic and timeless, the MDI Waterford Digital Photo Frame features an 8-inch back-lit LCD with a premium crystal frame. The MDI Vera Wang Wedgwood With Love Noir Digital Photo Frame showcases an 8-inch back-lit LCD with a black enamel and silver frame.
The new frames display photos in vibrant color and a picture-enhancing 800x600 resolution. The 4:3 aspect ratio preserves the original format of the digital photos, ensuring that they are not stretched or cropped. Additionally, consumers can store up to 1600 of their favorite memories on the 256MB built-in memory.
The MDI Waterford and Vera Wang digital photo frames both have One-Touch picture loading via a camera memory card or a direct connection to a computer, USB or digital camera. Images can be rotated and resized, and brightness and color settings can be changed. The frames also can play back AVI video clips and MP3 music files.
Both frames include useful features, such as calendar, clock and alarm functions. Additionally, they each can be programmed with specific on/off times to avoid unnecessary power usage.

MDI was founded specifically to converge the latest imaging and digital technologies with the world's leading designer brands. The 21st century consumer wants technology to simplify their lives, but also wants the quality, style, and workmanship associated with top designer brands. MDI fulfills that need with products that ensure customer satisfaction through our focus on innovation and convenience. The founders of MDI created the first home décor digital photo frame back in 2006 and then sold over 7 million digital photo frames over the past 6 years. They also created the world's first touch interface digital photo frame, the first “one step user interface,” the first email photo frame, and the first cellular photo frame during that same period. After years of consumer feedback, MDI was formed to meet consumer demand for the best home décor and tabletop designs.
Most digital images never leave “cyberspace,” while digital photo frame technology allows you to share and view those images every day in your home and office, moving those cherished images out of your camera and into your life. Now, with the creation of MDI and LuxuryDigitalFrames.com, you can also proudly display those memories in the world's leading designer frames, Waterford Crystal and Vera Wang Wedgewood. All of the Waterford and Vera Wang digital photo frames are assembled here in the United States. The company is headquartered in California's Silicon Valley.
