Citation Technologies Announces New Leadership Team to Drive Innovation and Global Expansion of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Regulatory Compliance Solutions

Citation Technologies, an industry leader in delivering Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) global compliance solutions, today announced the appointments of four new executive leadership team members tasked with driving global adoption of software-as-a-service (SaaS) EHS risk and compliance management solutions. Well-known and respected IT industry veteran David Carlson has been named President & CEO of Citation Technologies. Carlson will lead the company to further innovate and accelerate global sales penetration of Citation's Compliance Suite, a selection of cloud-based software solutions for Fortune 1000 companies looking to maintain compliance and manage change in a rapidly evolving regulated environment while strengthening business sustainability, advancing corporate responsibility and promoting operational excellence.

Three new senior executives all reporting to Carlson are: Mark Hutchinson, Senior Vice President of Global Content and Product Management; Sam Buffington, Chief Financial Officer; and Tom Bonetto, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Carlson, a successful leader of technology with an extensive history directing IT functions for high profile companies, joins Citation from information and insight company IHS (Information Handling Services) where he was SVP/CTO responsible for product development, content system, internal business applications and worldwide infrastructure. An international business expert proficient at directing complex systems throughout US, Canada, Asia and Europe, he's the recipient of numerous awards for his leadership including CIO Magazine “Top 100 CIOs” and Smithsonian Institution's “In Search of New Heroes” Awards among others. Carlson has also worked at Ingram Micro as SVP/CTO and was SVP/CIO for Kmart Corporation. Carlson holds multiple degrees including a bachelor's degree in mathematics, a master's degree in business and Ph.D. in engineering from the University of Michigan.
