IBEW's “Holiday Lights LIVE!” is Returning to the Pantages Theatre

ST. PAUL, MN (PRWEB) November 29, 2012

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) is proud to announce its forthcoming one-night concert event “Holiday Lights LIVE!” at the Historic Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 6:00PM. The concert is a key element of the IBEW's festive plans for the holiday season. Already, a record number of vehicles have driven through the IBEW Holiday Lights in the Park event at St. Paul's Phalen Park and their official CD soundtrack, “Holiday Lights Vol. 4”, is on pace to sell-out for a 4th year in a row at both the park and in all Twin Cities area Kowalski's Markets.

This family-friendly concert will feature live performances from both the CD as well as other holiday favorites and will include performances by an unprecedented lineup of Minnesota's best musical. Hometown favorites sharing the stage for charity in this one-night event include Keri Noble, Robert Robinson, Alison Scott, Dez, True North, Chris Koza, John Trones, Mandy Maietta, and IBEW Holiday Lights in the Park Music Director Phil Thompson, all of whom have tracks on this year's album.

“This is one of the most affordable and star-packed Holiday shows in the Twin Cities each year,” said Thompson. “It's pretty amazing to have this caliber of artists all coming together, I don't know any other show like it. This concert promises to have something for everyone and is an incredible showcase for Minnesota's best musical talents.”

To date, IBEW Holiday Lights has helped to raise $170,000 for charity and is hoping to raise even more for those in need this holiday season through its mission: creating fun and affordable family-friendly holiday entertainment that raises funds to help meet basic life needs for children and adults in the Twin Cities metro area. All net proceeds from the album, light display and concert will go to local charities including Second Harvest Heartland, Union Gospel Mission, Saint Paul Parks Conservancy and UnderConstruction.
