Silverleaf Resorts Receive 13 RCI Awards, Including Six Gold Crowns

Silverleaf properties continue to build on their elite status among RCI-affiliated resorts.

Silverleaf Resorts, a national leader in the vacation ownership industry, is proud to announce a ‘crowning' achievement in the recognition of multiple Silverleaf-owned resorts by RCI as ‘Gold' level resort destinations in their 2012 Resort Recognition Program, the 20th year of rankings by RCI.

Silverleaf locations in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, and Texas each received the prestigious designations.

Founded in 1974, RCI, the world's largest resort exchange system, is the industry leader in accrediting and recognizing top tier resort destinations. Since 1989, Silverleaf Resorts has dedicated itself to value, variety, convenience, and flexibility. This year's awards celebrate Silverleaf's success in meeting these criteria across the board, consistently providing exceptional vacation experiences for both owners and RCI subscribing members.

Selection for these prestigious awards is based on member comment card score averages in five categories: check-in/out, resort hospitality, resort maintenance, unit maintenance and unit housekeeping. In addition, Gold Crown recipients undergo an additional evaluation of resort and unit amenities and guest services.

The RCI Gold and Silver Crown Resort awards designate resorts that have met or exceeded specific standards in the areas of unit housekeeping, resort maintenance, unit maintenance, resort hospitality and check-in/check-out procedures, and an evaluation of resort facilities. The RCI Hospitality award is presented for consistently high ratings in check-in/check-out procedures and hospitality.

Only 43 percent of RCI-affiliated resorts received recognition last year, with just 10 percent gaining Gold Crown status.
