Industry successfully transitioned from the NERC TSIN Registry to OATI webRegistry through seamless coordination efforts.

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) November 28, 2012

The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB), and Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) announce the successful transition from the NERC TSIN Registry to OATI webRegistry on November 13, 2012.

This transition allows the energy industry to continue its emphasis on the security of the grid. OATI webRegistry requires Digital Certificates for access and includes secure web services. This assures that core industry data – and the grid – are protected and positions the industry to move forward to the next generation of products and services.
“OATI would like to thank NERC and NAESB for providing their expertise to ensure a successful transition,” said Sasan Mokhtari, Ph.D., President & CEO of OATI. “The Power Industry now benefits from the unsurpassed security of OATI webRegistry because of the leadership, support, and cooperation from these organizations.”
