Windsor Capital Group Announces 4th Annual Toys for Tots Campaign Drive at its 21 Hotels Nationwide

Each hotel serves as a donation site in the local community, and all Windsor Capital Group employees are encouraged to donate unwrapped toys to make Christmas brighter for kids.

Windsor Capital Group (WCG), announced today its 21 hotels across the United States are in full swing again this year serving as official collection sites for this holiday season's Toys for Tots drive. Toys for Tots, which is run by the Marines, collects and distributes toys to children in need. Every WCG hotel is a designated drop off site for the local chapter of Toys for Tots.

Windsor Capital Group, based in Santa Monica, Calif., owns and operates 21 hotels throughout the United States with its hotel management company Windsor Management Services. The company issued a challenge to all its employees four years ago to nominate a charity that all 21 hotels could support to help give back to local communities and Toys for Tots was selected and is now one of the company's official annual charities.

"The number of children living below the poverty level is now over 16 million; a figure I've never known to be higher," said retired Marine Major Bill Grein, the vice president of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. "In order for us to fulfill the Christmas holiday dreams of as many of these children as possible, we're going to need a lot of individual and corporate support," Grein continued. "Fortunately, we have Windsor Capital Group and their hotels back for the fourth year to help us reach these kids."

In 2011, through the efforts of Windsor Capital Group, more than 3,000 toys and $1,500 in spare change were collected and donated to Toys for Tots.

In addition to being an official donation collection site, hotels are collecting spare change and $1 train cutouts, available for purchase by guests to donate to Toys for Tots.

This year, WCG Hotels decided to add an exciting social media contest to encourage fans & followers to give. Like WCG Hotels on Facebook or follow @WCGHotels on Twitter and share what inspires you to give to enter to win a free two-night stay at any WCG Hotel plus a $40 food credit. Entries can be in the form of a story or photo and the winner will be chosen by other fans & followers. Contest entries will be accepted until December 12th, 2012.

Furthermore, this year everyone is a winner! Individuals will receive a coupon for free tater tots to redeem at any WCG Hotel's on-site restaurant when donating a toy. Enjoy free “tots” compliments of WCG Hotels for donating to the Toys for Tots drive!
