Playing College Level Lacrosse: Free Lecture from CNU Assistant LAX Coach
Christopher Newport University's Assistant Lacrosse Coach Mikey Thompson, as well as some of his CNU players, will give a free lecture at the Newport News Tidewater Performance Center on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. Space is limited.

Christopher Newport University's Assistant Lacrosse Coach Mikey Thompson, as well as some of his CNU players, will give a free lecture at the Tidewater Performance Center on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m.
All high school boy's lacrosse players are encouraged to attend. Thompson will discuss what it takes to make it to and on a college level lacrosse team.
The Newport News Performance Center is located at 751 J. Clyde Morris Boulevard.

About Coach Thompson:
Mikey Thompson comes from one of the most storied men's lacrosse programs – the University of Virginia – as both a player and a student assistant coach. Coach Thompson served as one of UVA's three captains during the Cavaliers' run to the 2012 ACC title and a third straight appearance in the NCAA semifinal round.
The three-time All-ACC selection and two-time All-American was drafted in the 2011 Supplemental Draft to the Denver Outlaws (Major League Lacrosse). Thompson also has championship coaching experience. He was on the sidelines when UVA captured the national championship in 2011.
Thompson appeared in 64 games for the Cavaliers, scoring eight goals with 11 assists, while also picking up the 102 ground balls as a standout midfielder.
