TroopTree.com Founder and CEO, Jon Loew, to appear live on November 12th at 9:00 am EST to discuss the groundbreaking video communication service that is connecting military families during and after active deployment

New York, NY (PRWEB) November 09, 2012

KeepTree, LLC (the “Company”), the creator of KeepTree.com (http://www.KeepTree.com), the hot new video messaging technology that allows users to record videos and deliver them at a future date and time, today announced that its TroopTree.com service (http://www.TroopTree.com) will be featured on the Army Wives Network as the “Resource of the Week”.

TroopTree.com was launched in December 2011 to provide a way for military families to communicate for FREE, utilizing an Internet-based video messaging system. By using a webcam or iPhone, families can send videos to soldiers deployed abroad, who often have limited access to telecommunications. Notifications of recorded videos are delivered via email thereby eliminating the need for a simultaneous Internet connection. Servicemen and women can respond immediately, or by using the proprietary FutureSendTM function to deliver a message at a specific time in the future.

"Trooptree.com gives our soldiers the ability to participate in important family events and daily activities," says Jon Loew, CEO. "We connect military families. The FutureSendTM function permits our troops to read a bedtime story and to schedule delivery such that a young child back home has peace of mind, knowing that a parent that is deployed thousands of miles away, in remote places and across timelines, can still remain closely integrated in family life."

"As a new father, a value cannot be placed on the ability to schedule that important birthday wish, read a bedtime story, see a child dressed up in their first Halloween costume, or even provide a video ‘tuck in.' I will continue to use TroopTree as a tool to insure that the rigors of my career never stand in the way of having meaningful communication with my loved ones, regardless of where I am in the world," stated Steve, a U.S. Army Special Forces Operator.

Steve continued, "Even in the most austere environments, TroopTree's unique ability to provide for video messaging in the absence of simultaneous connections allows for today's warriors to use the time available to them to communicate when their schedule allows. This takes stress off of both the soldier and the family who constantly worry about missing the window of opportunity for a call."

TroopTree also allows the public to show support for the military. TroopTree.com features a Thank You Vault, where people can record videos of support and thanks to the men and women serving our country.

“We already have a lot of videos recorded, including some from celebrities and athletes like Nick Cannon, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Jesse Bradford,” added Loew, “but we need more. With Veterans Day upon us, every video matters. Each sends a clear and resounding message to our troops and their families that we and our country at large appreciate their service. Those that serve, and those that have served our country are in our hearts and minds, and we are grateful.” Loew continued, “We are very excited about appearing on the Army Wives Network, and we are honored to do so the day after Veterans Day.”

Mr. Loew's interview can be heard at 9:00PM EST on Monday, November 12, 2012, at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/awtr.

About KeepTree and TroopTree

KeepTree is a web based video messaging system designed to allow users to record, store and share videos. The KeepTree service does not require a simultaneous Internet connection, and allows users to determine when videos should be delivered to their recipients. KeepTree is the first service to allow future delivery of videos (patent pending), affording users the opportunity to share memories and advice with loved ones even after they are no longer alive.

KeepTree videos can be stored as legacy communications for the enjoyment of future generations. TroopTree is a special version of the KeepTree service created to allow military families to take advantage of KeepTree's capabilities for free.
