Evesham, Worcestershire (PRWEB UK) 5 November 2012

With Christmas just around the corners, millions and millions of people all over the country are struggling to come up with present ideas for their other halves. Luckily, Toolbox is on hand to help the significant other in a DIY enthusiast's life with some great gift ideas at fantastic prices...

However, due to the ROK tool brand being considerably unknown, there has been a strong marketing effort to get this range of tools the recognition it truly deserves. A variety of the ROK tools have been sent off to experts and big names in the tool industry in order to get their opinions and reviews heard – whether it's positive or negative.

Many tools have already gone under a thorough examination and passed with flying colours; however, this week sees the 4.8v cordless ROK screwdriver scrutinised. How will it fair? Here's an excerpt from the review given by an influential source of information in the tool business.

“Proving that small is well, if not beautiful, definitely practical is the ROK RPCSD48V. It's a compact, almost pocket-sized tool that punches above its weight – the sort of tool that will prove handy time and time again.

“It's a simple pistol-style screwdriver, with comfortable soft grip, forward/reverse trigger and a magnetic chuck designed to take hexagonal screwdriver bits... The tool also features a handy LED light, mounted just above the chuck spindle to illuminate work in gloomy recesses, operated by a switch on the top of the driver

“If you've a budding young DIY'er in the house, they'll be delighted to start off their tool collection with this little yellow timesaver – and at just under £10 it's a real pocket money purchase.”

The entire unedited review can be found on the official Toolbox blog or by clicking here.

What does Toolbox think of the review? Here's the resident tool expert, Lee Taylor to give his thoughts: “We're extremely pleased that the reviews have been positive on the whole so far. We appreciate criticism where it's provided and we'll work with the feedback to ensure the tools are as good as they possibly can be, whilst remaining affordable.”

Scott Morris, E-Commerce Manager at Toolbox also added a cheeky price discount on the reviewed tool: “Due to the increased traffic that will be making its way to the product page, we're dropping the price for a limited time in the hope of encouraging people to give it a try and become familiar with the ROK brand!”

The Toolbox site is currently operated from the new, rebranded and ever-expanding Online Home Retail Network which at present hosts around 50 separate niche sites. These sites sell a range of items varying from designer radiators and showers to shovels & pillar drills.
