Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 03, 2012

“Spirit Fashion L.A.” is currently airing on KCTV Los Angeles Monday-Friday at 10:30 p.m. KCTV has over 750,000 viewers through Channel 3 in Glendale, Burbank, Montrose, La Canada and La Crescenta & Channel 31 in all other Los Angeles Charter TV Areas. Fashion is a global multi-million dollar industry that has captured the world since the emergence of the sumptuous "New Look" style during the 1950s when fashion became more popularized by Hollywood mavens such as Betty Grable, Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe. Fashion profoundly affects the ways we think, feel and react in society, where we use clothes to identify ourselves and communicate messages as to who we are. Yet for decades, Western society has been obsessed with body image as fashion has blatantly augmented the matrix of outer beauty. But that is about to change. At this year's Los Angeles Fashion Week 2012, the landmark Spirit Fashion L.A. Web/TV series rocked the fashion world and revealed that the art of fashion reflects way beyond the physical...it's a way to learn about the inner self, a channel to make our spirits shine through, and a road to get in touch with our inner beauty.
It's even more prevalent today that celebrities determine the latest fashion trends. Thus what better place is there on the planet to show the influence of this spirit than in the entertainment capital of the world, where the glamor drama of Hollywood is uniquely intertwined with Tinseltown's “anything goes” fashion attitude.

Spirit Fashion is a five part Web/TV Series that features a non-scripted interview style format that is about exploring the art of who we are through the art of fashion. Co-hosted by Nia Lyte and Claudia Hallowell, it will include open interviews with designers, models, stylists, celebrities and an unconvential non-profit foundation that specializes in forging fashion shows to raise disaster relief funds for victims of natural disasters.

Major fashion designers headlined include Alexis Bellino, Boditecture, Brian Lichtenberg, Cerre, Curly V, Erik Hart/Factory, Henry Duarte, Laili Lau, Lizzie Pomcer, Micha Design, Mike Vensel, Nami, Nuvula, Octavio Carlin, Project Ethos, Rodarte (Muleavy Sisters), Romeo + Juliet Couture, SG, Sue Wong, Sueko Oshimoto, Thai Nguyen and Ximena Valero.

Their words and actions are the foundation for exploring the expressions that bare the essence of their styles and lives. Furthermore, Spirit Fashion will unveil how the souls of these L.A. fashion-scene artists who create the clothes that set worldwide trends, can use their fashion sensibilites to empower individuals to look toward their inner light and beauty, and inspire one's strength to save the spirit of Earth.

Produced by Nia Lyte and Shinca Entertainment in association with Co-Creator Claudia Hallowell Entertainment, with Hollywood/Japanese celebrity Shin Koyamada serving as executive producer, the Spirit Fashion L.A. show is the debut production of the avant-garde Spirit Show Network, the first internet network dedicated to empowering people who live a creative life in L.A.

Following the success of Lyte's Best of Art Basel TV show that was distributed on Comcast, Ovation TV and Xfinity TV to over 20 million viewers, slated for a September 2012 release, the Spirit Fashion L.A. will be distributed on multiple platforms: KCTV Los Angeles, Charter cable channels, and on the Web at http://www.spiritshow.tv.
