The latest Survival Life Newsletter has been published, and it includes information on barter items, Halloween candy, and more.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) November 03, 2012

The most recent SurvivalLife.com Digital Newsletter has been sent out to subscribers, and ‘Above Average' Joe helps readers determine the best ways to prepare for any type of emergency.

In this issue of the Survival Life Newsletter, Joe wraps up his list of priceless barter items that people should stock up on. In Survival Tips, he informs people on exactly how long all of their leftover Halloween candy will stay fresh. In the Practical Prepper portion, he sees if any of the "survival in a can" products actually work.

The main article was a concluding piece on the best bartering items for a post-disaster recovery. Joe expressed the importance of items like toilet paper, sugar, and bleach. The end of the article asks, “Can you think of any other items you would add to your barter store?”

The Survival Tips section of the Newsletter focuses on candy life spans post-Halloween. Joe collected as much information as he could regarding candy and its usefulness beyond the night when the little kids haul it in. Bubble gum, chocolate, gummy bears, and more are covered in the article.

“Odds are, when you do your next round of spring cleaning you will find a piece of leftover Halloween candy tucked away somewhere, but just how long will these candies be safe to eat?” asked Joe in the article.

Finally, the Practical Prepper Newsletter article takes a look at “Survival in a Can,” an item that Joe agrees is reasonably priced, but doesn't quite add up to a quality piece of the survival puzzle.

“All in all, this product is a great novelty item, keep it on your desk and use it as a joke, or use it as a stocking stuffer for your favorite prepper,” Joe wrote in the article. “As a survival tool it falls short.”

Articles like these are featured daily on SurvivalLife.com, alongside content other prepper blogs, product reviews, e-book reviews, and a variety of topics on disaster preparation and survival. It is a non-politically biased source that is geared toward the survival side of prepping. Subscriptions to the daily Newsletter brings all of the latest information from SurvivalLife.com straight to readers' inboxes.

Whether readers need wilderness survival tips or strategies to plan for an urban disaster, SurvivalLife.com covers it all. Well on its way to becoming a preeminent member of the survival blog-o-sphere, SurvivalLife.com is contributing to the conversation and hopes readers do as well.

As Joe and the SurvivalLife.com team like to say, “It's your life. Prepare to survive.”
