Nicolites Responds to Survey Which Reveals More Than Half of Workers Resent Smoking Breaks
The electronic cigarette providers at UK-based firm, Nicolites, have responded to research which has revealed workers resent their colleagues for taking smoking breaks.
(PRWEB UK) 1 November 2012
A Stoptober survey conducted for Watch My Wallet revealed that 58% of workers are angry over ‘unfair' smoking breaks and believe smokers should have their wages docked.
3,546 British people questioned revealed that only 1 in 4 believed smokers should be paid the same and that 16% think smokers' wages should only be lowered if taking more breaks hampered their productivity.
This new research reveals a nation of frustrated workers who are secretly frustrated with colleagues who take smoking breaks.
The team at Nicolites are understandably interested by this news, Managing Director, Nikhil Nathwani comments on the research:
“We can understand the frustration felt by workers throughout the country. We're supporting Stoptober and hoping to encourage smokers to quit with the aid of electronic cigarettes. Hopefully the Stoptober initiative will help many smokers quit for good and therefore reduce the amount of smokers in the workplace taking breaks. Alternatively, electronic cigarettes can be smoked inside at the desk if permitted by the employer, allowing little disruption to an employee's working day.”
Nicolites is now the leading and most widely available brand of electric cigarette in the UK; they have formed business partnerships with many of the largest retailers to bring these wonderful innovations right on to the doorstep of every person in the country. Established in late 2007, Nicolites has grown into a multi-million pound company with international distribution networks and continues to grow at a phenomenal rate.
