Business Bartering Through ITEX Helps Finance Canadian Olympic Athletes via the CAN Fund

Hundreds of Toronto area companies are donating their barter profits and revenues to the Canadian Athletes Now (CAN Fund), which provided 80% of the financial support for the Canadian athletes that competed in Vancouver and London. Currently the CAN Fund is working to support Olympic athletes heading to the next games in Sochi.

ITEX in Toronto (http://www.creativebarter.ca) is an organization of thousands of business - from small sole proprietorships to large international corporations, who trade their services and products to other companies via the ITEX barter exchange. Instead of redeeming their ITEX credits for their own uses, they have donated tens of thousands of dollars to the CAN Fund.
