Two industry leaders, Medical Electronic Attachment (MEA), the recognized leader in secure exchange of health information, and The van Halem Group, a leading national Medicare consulting and auditing firm, today announced an agreement to provide MEA's FastAttach®, an esMD (Electronic submission of medical documentation) solution, to DME providers. This partnership solution offers the DME industry a more efficient, cost-effective and complete solution for reporting during the audit process.

Their clients will experience process improvement and reduced administrative costs by utilizing MEA's FastAttach® to electronically send all required medical documentation to the requesting CMS review contractor for RAC, MAC and CERT audits, eliminating the need to mail or fax documentation.
