TRISTAR Benefit Administrators Appoints VP/Sales

LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

TRISTAR has named Ty Sleiter as Vice President of Sales for its West Des Moines, Iowa-based TRISTAR Benefit Administrators (TBA) division, effective immediately. He will be responsible for all facets of sales and marketing of the company's comprehensive benefit packages and administrative services for employers throughout the Midwest.

Sleiter has been instrumental in helping both private businesses and public entities implement strategic insurance solutions and gain a competitive edge. Most recently, he served as the Iowa Team Leader for Aon Risk Services to expand their presence in the state. He has over 10 years of experience as insurance consultant and account executive for a number of top Iowa-based insurance and risk-management companies, including Cottingham & Butler, Holmes, Murphy & Associates, and Ahrold Fay Rosenberg.

He is a graduate of the University of Iowa, an Iowa Association of Business and Industry Advisory Council member, and has accumulated an array of professional development skills through organizations such as the Hartford School of Insurance, John Maxwell Authentic Leadership program, Brian Tracy Platinum Mentoring Series, and DM Leadership Network.
