GENEDGE ALLIANCE Announces Black Belt Certifications Awarded in Innovation Engineering
GENEDGE ALLIANCE proudly announces that two Growth Consultants from their Chesterfield office were recently awarded Black Belts in Innovation Engineering (IE). The Growth Consultants that received IE certifications are: Paul Bolesta and Mike Levy.
The Innovation Engineering Black Belt Certification is awarded upon completion of an extensive training program. It is the highest level for practioners within the Innovation Engineering Management System (IEMS).
The Innovation Engineering Management System (IEMS) utilizes a broad spectrum of strategies, methods, assignments, and web-based tools to generate customer-targeted innovations. It helps companies quickly assess risk and bring concepts to market in the shortest possible time and in the most cost effective manner. Black Belts provide exceptional consulting services to assist companies in their path towards self-sustainment. The end product is a robust in-house culture of team-generated innovation.
The Innovation Engineering Black Belt Program was developed by the Innovation Engineering Institute, a collaboration of private industry and universities based on 26 years of quantitative research on what drives innovation success. It consists of coursework, personal study and real-world implementation. Innovation Engineering Black Belts enable their clients to increase innovation speed and decrease risk with ideas for new products, services and processes. The program is used around the world by companies, colleges, and countries to help them accelerate innovation. In the U.S., NIST MEP has the largest network of certified Innovation Engineering Black Belts as part of its mission to increase the competitiveness of American manufacturers.
Earlier in 2012, GENEDGE launched a complete suite of Innovation & Growth Services to be delivered by certified Innovation Engineering Black Belt Consultants. Additional GENEDGE ALLIANCE staff is participating in the Black Belt program and targeted for certification.
